TEM Optical Bulk Liquid Electrochemistry

Operando heating, biasing under environmental conditions

The Hummingbird Scientific Generation V TEM Optical Bulk Liquid-Electrochemistry Sample Holder is the first system capable of replicating true bulk photo-electrochemical behavior inside a transmission electron microscope. Featuring a fiber optic feedthrough, real bulk reference and counter electrodes, and optimized electrochemistry chips, this holder enables quantitative, drift‑free in‑situ imaging of photo-electrochemical processes at the nanoscale without the need for drift correction software. Compatible with TFS/FEI, JEOL, and Hitachi systems, it supports aqueous and organic electrolytes and integrates optional heating capabilities. Every Hummingbird holder is precision‑machined for reproducibility, performance, and ease of use. Scroll down to explore key features and advantages of this holder.
