Colibri Platform™ is Hummingbird Scientific’s open data and metadata layer for in-situ TEM, STEM, SEM, and X-ray microscopy workflows.
It is designed to do one essential job well: connect Hummingbird holder data with microscope image data so researchers can preserve the full experimental context of every image, video, spectrum, or dataset.
Colibri records the conditions applied during the experiment, including temperature, gas pressure, liquid flow, voltage, current, position, timing, alarms, notes, holder ID, chip ID, microscope ID, and session information, and makes that information available through exportable, interoperable data formats.
Colibri does not force researchers into a closed analysis environment. It is designed to support the microscope software, OEM operating environment, open-source tools, Python workflows, institutional data systems, and custom analysis pipelines that researchers already use.
Use the microscope software you prefer. Analyze data with the tools you trust. Keep your experiment metadata open, portable, and connected to the images it describes.
